Notice: Effective March 12, 2020 – As a precautionary step related to the coronavirus; No visitors allowed at State Operated Developmental Centers (SODCs) until further notice
Dear Guardian/Family Member:
We want to inform you that in light of the Coronaviruses (COVID19) we are taking precautions to keep everyone healthy. To minimize the spread of this highly contagious virus we are discontinuing all visits to the centers, implementing a screening process for employees and discontinuing all other non-essential visitors.
While we understand the frustration and the concern over not seeing your loved one we hope that you will understand and be patient while we navigate this situation.
Each center is working on plans for remote communication. The availability is limited and different for each location. If you would like to know how this can be facilitated please feel free to reach out to your contact at the center level.
